Wondering where I've been???

Sick - with vertigo! If you have ever had it, then you know why I have not been on a computer.
Or even out of bed for that matter. I really hope this goes away soon! I would so love to get off this spinning world I have been living in for a week.

Thanks to those who have helped, offered to help etc.!

So thankful to have friends like you. : )

Hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving.

The magic of photo shop

Tonight my neighbors came down to help me touch up my friends wedding pictures. (her photographer did not show up so the guests and to fill in) As we were touching up the photos we got on the subject of how fake pictures can be. How you can take yourself and turn you into something completely different. Then they showed me this You Tube video. It really hit home on how fake those beautiful models/TV/movie actors/actresses/magazines really are.

Talk about an eye opener!

(on the other hand, maybe I could take my really bad Hula videos and have some one photo shop into a really good hula video...)

Spilled Milk Makes Me Cry! Part TWO/Good Mail

Remember my spilled milk post a couple of days ago?

Well, seriously I have had an outpouring of love. I just
have such wonderful friends!
Phone calls, e-mails, offers for meals. It's as if I have
just had a baby...
I know a lot of you are concerned for the lack of sleep I have been
having - thanks for all the advice tips on that!
I am now trying a vitamin supplement, we will see how that works.
I mean, because I have even given up Cherry Pepsi in hopes that
knocking the caffeine out of my diet, and adding my hula work out to
my daily routine (not just the night of my class) would help.

Anyway, today was a fun day.
We made it to play group! (HOORAY!)
I got to visit with my friends and play
with some cute kids.

Mr. K was home and came with us
(and he even put together a yummy lunch for us to
enjoy while we were there.)

When we got back home, I put the kids down for a nap and took one myself.
(we had recieved tickets to a sneak preview of Disney's BOLT and wanted
to be well rested for the 7pm show more on that later)

Mr. K, took my car in for an oil change and then returned some things
at TJ Max.
When he came home he surprised me with

Remember I had lost lots of things in my purse.
My Wallet was one of them.
Thanks K, I LOVE it!

Then for dinner he made me this
Chicken Salad wrapsYUM!
(he told me not to take a picture of this, I think
he was embarrassed and knew this would become
a post somehow)

As we are eating, Miss M goes out to get the mail
and (this is where I start crying...)
my Sister (she is not really my sister, but we should have been)
sent me a PACKAGE!!!
The card was so cute,
it read "...It's not a Coach bag but hopefully it will make you smile."
WELL sister of mine, it did more than make me SMILE, I cried
pure tears of joy. love. happiness.
Thank you so much!
The clothes for the girls are darling
Miss M did a little fashion show.

(this is her friend Q who was hanging out with us today)posing away the little model!

one more...but this, this right here is what made me cry!

Miss M wanted to try it on too.

Thanks so much - to all of my dear friends!

Super Silly Saturday/Random weekend moments

Mr. K has an off schedule this month - we forgot to put a bid in for the lines/trips he would like to hold this month and so we ended up with what United gave him. He works Fri-Mon and is off Tues-Thur. This weekend he had a layover in Chicago, that's right with us!

So we did fun layover things. We went to a movie and then walked to the Big Ka Hoo Na had a lite late lunch (we were kind of full from the movie popcorn). Ran a few errands stopped at my friends house who was kind enough to pick up a red round rug for my bathroom - it's perfect thanks Sarah!)

I wasn't trying to get cute shots of the girls - but they saw me taking random pictures of our new rug and had to join in on the fun!

Then just as we were settling in at home my friend called me to come over for dinner!
Woo to the Hoo!
She had made my Fahotties and wanted to share them with us. YUMM-O!

We also had time to take some funny photos and I captured Miss M singing a cute new song.

Sunday we were supposed to go to a American Girl lunch/party with my sister Lyn
but I got sick - I think it was stress and NOT being able to sleep.(not the yummy fahotties! just wanted to make that clear)

I also want to thank lots of you for your kind words over my spilled milk post.
special thanks to...
Sarah thanks for the yummy dinner
Stacy thanks for the new hand me down purse
and Heather I can't wait for my fun headband.
I seriously have some of the best friends!

Spilled Milk Makes Me Cry!

Some of you know that I have had a terrible time sleeping lately. Last night, I didn't sleep at all.
So basically I have been up for over 24 hours.
(don't ask I how I am standing, because really I am not!)

I had a few things that I needed to get from Target today (one of them a sleep aid my dr. told me to get). On my way out the door I quickly got a sippy cup ready for Miss A (quickly being the operative word).
We were leisurely strolling through Target, Miss M writing things down on her Santa wish list.
I looked at the Halloween stuff that is now 75% off , looked at the Christmas things, shoes, dollar spot...
We decided it was time to check out and get a pretzel. I reached into my Coach purse/diaper bag only to pull out a
Soaking. Wet.Wallet.

Ahhh the sippy cup had dumped all 8 oz. of milk into my purse. I was sick. I wanted to fall on the floor and just cry, sob, scream out WHY ME, WHY MY COACH PURSE, WHY MY CAMERA, WHY MY CELL PHONE. (remember I have not had sleep in 24 hours - this was the last straw)

My new cell phone, my cnady stash/snack stash, diapers, wipes, camera, Miss A's favorite board books, Thanksgiving cards I WAS going to be mailing out to family, you name it what ever was in that purse gone. ruined. stinks of milk. I was numb when I turned to pay for my things, numb when I went to order Miss M's pretzel and cheese, numb when I was cleaning out my purse, throwing things away. Numb when a nice old lady yelled at me for leaving my child unattended in a shopping cart - mind your own busy "nice" nosy old lady - can't you see I am greaiving for my soiled coach purse? My camera? My phone? My cute Thanksgiving cards? Or better yet,
why don't you go sit down with my kids and help a mother out?

(picture milk dripping out the bottom of this purse - SAD right!?!?!)

And just so you know I am not really a materialistic person, but I do love my purse
(a gift from my sister) and well when you have something nice, you HATE to see
milk oozing out the bottom...

on another note, I came across this totally cute headband - and a free pattern to make it
so IF anyone out there knows how to make it, It would really cheer me up! (wink wink)
you can find it HERE.

SCORE/ Cute Decorations

November first I rolled out of bed quietly, not wanting to disturb the three other bodies in my bed (somewhere during the night Miss A and Miss M joined us). I quickly got ready to hit Target for their 50% off items (thanks Tammi for the tip!) I was on a mission to find the metal haunted house I had on my wish list.
I arrived shortly after the store opened and headed straight for the Halloween section.
And there. it. was.
I grabbed the first one I saw, then noticed there were several for me to choose from in three different sizes. I chose the medium one (although the large size was pretty cute, it had a witch flying over the top of it).
I leisurely strolled through the other 5-6 aisles of discounted Halloween goodies. I found a few other things and put some back.
I think my other favorite find was a package of three metal acorns for only $5.00!!!
Awesome score!
Also while I was in Utah my sister had me go into a Roberts - SO glad I did!
They had a sale going on there 50% off Fall/Halloween decorations.

1. My metal haunted house plus three cute ghosts I got for 50 cents! (each)
2. cute wooden haunted house my sister got be at Roberts
3. I got this cute Witch sign at Joann's also 50% off : )
4. Candy corn wreath from Joann's
AND the whole reason I went into Joann's was to buy fabric to make the Halloween Banner I saw on this blog Miss M is holding the banner in picture #5.
(also at Joann's I got Miss A's pumpkin costume for $12!!! you can't even make one that cheap)
6. Cute new rug (Thanks Stacy!)
7. One of the FUN acorns
8 and 9. decorations I already had - Miss M just wanted me to take pictures of them too.

Also at the Roberts store I got some cute Fall decorations. I REALLY wish there was
a Roberts here! (But I am sure Mr. K is glad there is not one here...easier on the
pocket book that way)

Happy Thanksgiving Month!

We Voted/Kids say the Cutest things

And got some cute pictures of the girls.

Miss M had her All By Myself library class yesterday and Miss Laura talked to
them about voting and America. They made flags and had hand name tags (to put over their heart). She also gave them a voting hand out.
I really think that Miss M got what voting was about - and today, that was confirmed.

On our way into vote Miss M said to me,
"Mommy, I am going to vote for Minnie Mouse.
Who do you want to vote for?"

Miss M, this one's for you

It's seems for the last half of October and in a couple of different states we celebrated Miss A's big day.

Miss A had some great gifts but not a whole lot of interest in opening them
so we let each child who wanted to open up a gift for Miss A.

Also, picture number 14 is my friend Sarah (Mr. Love's mom)
she had the AWESOME idea of doing a group gift. She was like Santa getting
all sorts of fun gifts for Miss A. Thank you SO much for that great idea!

AND as if we didn't have ENOUGH Parties for Miss A - at Hula class our Hula teacher made a cake for Miss A and Christine (my Hula friend and co-owner of the Big Ka Hoo Na)
Happy Birthday Miss A and Aunty Lolly!

A Wicked Night Out!

My sister and I enjoyed a girls night out down town. We ate a yummy dinner at Flat Top.
Then headed over to see WICKED!
We were in the 7th row. It was AWESOME!
There is NOTHING like seeing it up close and personal.
Thanks Lyn for a fun night out.

(and a special thanks to our neighbors upstairs who watched the girls so Keenan could
come and pick me up!)
