This is what I wanted it to look like, unfortunately anywhere I sent it cut Miss A out of the picture
and the wording. Hello can no one cut right!?!? After many trials and errors my sister
came up with this one...
only to notice that they LEFT out our names but oh well. They got sent out, which is much better than last year! And Sorry if you didn't get one, we ordered just so many and I ran out before I knew it. BUT here it
is and you can look at it and enjoy it all you want! (know we still Love you!)
I did not have time to write a letter so I had the kids ( all three) of them draw a winter picture on the back of the card. So instead of a long boring letter all about the Kamae/Bostrom clan you received original art work. Although if you did want to know what has been happenings in our lives....READ ON...
The Mr.
Full time laundry duty, husband, dad, uncle, brother in law, nursing student and church calling. Part time PCT at St. Frances hospital, chef, problem solver, musician, learning to play the Wii with his wife, teaching his daughter(s) the love of "old" movies - Tron - Princess Bride - The Last Unicorn-Star Wars. Also playing the wii with them. Teaching Little G (our nephew who lives with us) to Love all sports, throw a mean football, and drink bottled root beer while enjoying popcorn. And does a good job at NOT going insane while his wife does once again takes on more than she should...oh and coming up with AMAZING costumes at thrift stores for birthday parties and Halloween.
Yes, it is a demanding job but he does wonderful at making it look easy. He and Cuppy (my sister who lives with us) also spend time studying and talking about this medical thing and that medical thing most if it goes over my head and I just nod or gag (depending on what the are talking about). I do enjoy listening to hospital stories every ONCE and a while.
The Mrs.
Full time Mom and just about everything else, except the laundry cuz I can't stand putting it away...washing, drying, folding is all ok but blech! that putting it away (shiver!!!). Go figure because I am obsessed with organizing their dresser drawers. When I have time I enjoy cooking and will bring it to the hospital so Mr. K and Cuppy have something to eat. Part time, preschool teacher, babysitter (although that should technically be full time). Driver of the big blue bus (full of preschool kids). Picture taker, memory recorder, face book player (again debatable on full/part time), selling Stampin Up, party planner, invitation -thank you card maker, girl scout leader, oh and that stake calling at church with the primary and putting together the news letter, chasing after kids, cleaning up messes, wiping runny noses, reading to self and others. Home work checker, appointment keeper, blog stalker, wish maker and occasional sleeper.
The Aunt
AKA Cuppy or Yesica
Full time Mom, Aunt, Student, back up parent, home organizer, antibiotic giver, poopy diaper changer, part time PCT at THE FRAN, card maker (when I force her) blogger (when I force her), helps sell Stampin up with me (she is really the creative one) face book player (although that one should be full time too). Car mechanic, financial adviser, Sunday school teacher, baker (even if all the yummy treats go to the cute staff at the Fran) and chef, will do the laundry (when forced), is great at taking out the garbage (sometimes TOO good!), loves to watch scary movies, play guitar hero, Super mario diva, but is still trying to work on the Tetris Diva (that title belongs to me but notice NOT Tetris Queen because well our sister Sarah gets that award.) She is great at making me laugh and helping me out when I am loosing my mind once again taken on too much. AND my most favorite always knows the best songs to listen too and movies to watch. And this year she will take on the roll of my personal trainer.
She is also very cute and single so if you know of any cute amazing GOOD guys lets hook her up.
The Marvelous Miss M
Full time: (she does nothing part time) student, reader, computer genius (or anything else electronic), amazing karaoke singer, wii player, swimmer, body boarder, big sister, piano player, awesome cousin, fort builder, giver, sharer, did I mention her love of books yet? HUGE helper, one of the best people I know. (I have learned that the Mr. and I are in BIG trouble because already the boys flock to her.) Soon she will dance hip hop, take ballet, she is a mathematician, super speller (she doesn't get that from me!) Loves to pose for the camera, talk, is learning to send texts on our phones. Loves friends, books, piano, music, singing, laughing, dancing, her sister and cousins, books, barbies, animals, drawing, bible camp, primary, school oh and books. And likes to make everyone happy. She enjoys chores now that she has learned the value of allowance. She Is Still Daddy's Girl. Also Full Time, preschooler, explorer (especially with her Dora back pack), big helper, little chef, constant observer, mama's girl (love every second of it!). Loves to eat, especially sea weed and rice, spam and eggs, she loves "chicken" (which is beef) and cheese (she is 50% Hawaiian and 50% Wisconsin with her tastes in food). Popsicle and apple juice are here favorite treats. She adores her big sister and is really starting to like Little G now that he plays more instead of grabbing toys and pulling hair. She loves nursery, saying prayers, helping, laughing, singing, and I have a feeling some day she will have a million animals or be a veterinarian. we adore her Miss A-isms daily...ie. Yesica, grama (for camera), "can I watch a wii -one" (a show on netflix which we get through the wii). Ms. Mamcy (her preschool teacher Nancy). Or listening to her sing her favorite song "Jesus wants me for a sun beep" (instead of sun beam). She dresses like a princess and wears a tiara any chance she gets. She also has a love of hauling small objects and lamby around in purses or back packs.
The Little
aka Little Dude or Little G
Little Dude, is full time also, full time cute, full time trouble maker, full time explorer, full time climber, full time cuddle giver, full time tantrum thrower, full time thrower, full time hoarder (you should see the stuff we found under the beds!) He has become an expert on knowing when you need a hug, or a cute face to look at. He adores his cousins and his uncles. Not to mention he adores his Mommy! He likes me alright too. And he has finally warmed up to his Aunt Lyn who rocked and sang to him one night on a sleep over who could resist that!?!?! He is a ladies man, patient with his cousins, loves to dress up with them (we had to get more than just princess costumes) enjoys practicing the piano with Miss M, throwing clean clothes in the garbage or objects of great importance into the toilet. (wii remote, camera's, cousins clean clothes, food, phones etc.)
He also has an amazing pain tolerance as he experienced 9 ear infections over the year and somehow managed to grab a hot flat iron and bang his head three times in the same spot. On Jan. 11 he will have tubes put into his ears. hopefully ending the infections and his clumsiness. But not his love of exploring.

We are a mixed happy family and even though we have had our share of trials, sickness, sadness, and everything else in between we have been greatly blessed in 2010.
We wish you and your loved ones a very Happy New Year!
