playdates and playmates

Jesica has been doubly busy lately school full time, work part time and mom full time. But we are so excited that she has a job! She and Keenan are working at the hospital together well the same hospital anyway different floors. With all of our crazy schedules we have had many great friends pick up the slack and watch little dude (or Miss M) while I am at work.
These pictures are from our upstairs neighbor. She had LD for a morning. Her little girl LOVES LD. I just adore these cute pictures of them playing together.

And here are pictures of Miss M reading to our neighbor. We love to go upstairs and visit with them. We are so spoiled to have GREAT upstairs neighbors!

Little Dude's Shenanigans

Little Dude L O V E S markers and crayons and stamps, but not to create wonderful works of art, but to eat them. Luckily for me this time Mom was on the clock and not auntie! It was just so funny to see his black mouth. and BOY was he mad to have that marker taken away from him!

Little Dude is in to E V E R Y T H I N G
I mean E V E R Y T H I N G.
But I like (even though it DRIVES me crazy at times) that he is so interested in everything, wants to check it out, see how it all works and be a part of everything. One Sunday while Jesica was straightening the girls hair, Little Dude must have grabbed the hot iron and burned his finger. The sad thing is WE DIDN'T KNOW! He NEVER CRIED and we didn't discover it until later. We put neosporin on it and wrapped it up. He was so good about his finger being wrapped up, didn't even try to take the bandage off.
What a sweet boy. His finger is all healed. Now, if we could just make his teething easier!!!!

I was so excited when Little Dude  FINALLY was able to master the slide - and I had to capture it for his Mommy!
He was so proud of himself. I was pretty proud too : )

Mr. Sun came out and he smiled at me...

Is one of our favorite Sponge Bob songs (ok really the only one I know) but we love it! Today that is how I feel. The sun came out and smiled at me! So I had to take some pictures of the kids playing in the back yard. There is only a couple of Miss M all dressed up and ready for picture day at school - I would have loved to have taken more because the sun light was just so perfect But alas, my child needed to get to school. I did get some good ones of Miss A when we got back home. Little Dude was moving a little bit too much for more pictures. He is just a baby-a-go-go!

Farmers Market Saturday

This Summer we have actually made it to the farmers market a few times. We even went to one up in  Green Bay with Uncle Dave.
This time daddy took the girls so mommy could "sleep in".
The girls had SO much fun. And Miss M came home with a HUGE bag of nectarines our FAVORITE.

Enjoying the produce in our own back yard! I am a huge fan of cucumbers and we had a lot in our little garden this summer

"green bay packer" bell peppers

these egg plants look SO good! I love that purple color. But I don't recall actually ever eating egg plant! Are they good?

These little mushroom/toad stools are So cute. I wish they were a little more in our price range. They would be SO cute in a toy room! (I wonder if I could make my own...)

Enjoying some music. The girls really enjoyed playing music with this women. She had lots of easy to make home made instruments for the kids to join in.

And what better way to end their daddy daughter daughter date by a yumm-o breakfast at Clarke's!

Miss A's first day of Preschool

Miss A on her first day of preschool. I barley was able to take some pictures - she was ready to start school!
I get to teach again this year. Its great to go to preschool with my own child. PLUS I get to enjoy all the other kids in her class. We have a great class this year!

and here are some shots of a couple of her school friends in class.
We Love Ms "Mamcy's" (Nancy) class!
