Miss M had her second piano recital she was perfect! (I can say that because I am her mom) I only wish that our video camera had actually worked and that we could have relived her songs over and over again. T is for Teacher Appreciation

I have been taking so many fun pictures (if I do say so myself) but have had no time to update the Bloggy. Poor Blog! AND to add to it, This week is teacher appreciation week. I appreciate teachers!!! This year I LOVE Miss M's teacher and we have become good friends so I want to spoil her! But mostly I want it to come from the kids. The school has put together lots of fun things for the teachers, lunch, breakfast, car wash, gift cards, wear your teachers favorite color, posters, etc. I have organized special snacks this week for the kids and teacher to share and enjoy together. And making some fun stuff for her and Miss M has too.
Here is the first gift we gave her.

She is SO good at writing thank you cards that I wanted to replenish her supply. I used library book envelopes for the cards, bright card stock, my cricut and big shot to cut out tags and circles. Thank you stamp . Then topped off with scraps of ribbon I had left over. L O V E how they turned out!
       THANK YOU TAGS

I will add another post later about how I was thanked. I love my sweet little preschoolers SO much. Even on "bad" days when we have lots of accidents, runny noses, too much noise they are so sweet.
They made me the CUTEST little thank you cards all with their little hand prints. I LOVE little hands and looking back at how small they are, so it really was a wonderful gift to receive.
(thanks room mom's for putting it together)

A is for ALOHA for JAPAN

Mr. K was asked to head line a fundraiser at his college for Japan.
Mr. K jumped on the opportunity to help out Japan.
Miss M and I drove back up (from Naperville) to support the Mr.
Miss M sang! UP on STAGE! in front of a HUGE crowd of strangers!
She was a bit terrified at first, and I thought she was going to cry. My heart just
ached for her. BUT THEN her little voice got a little louder, her head came up a little higher and she sang her heart out. Which burst my heart! I am SO proud of her.

Miss M dressed up in her kimono and walked around the cafeteria . They RAISED over $500!
They have another benefit concert at the other campus Thursday April 14.
And a very special SHOUT OUT to Mr. K's sister who rounded up the ALOHA
shirt and hat for his concert.

       R E L I E F that is what is on this face!

It may be only a small thing that we can do for Japan, but something none the less. WE are heart broken at the hardships that the country of Japan is suffering. Especially at the thought that there are parents who won't hold their babies again, or babies who won't see there mom and dad again, or families that can not and will not be able to move home. It makes me think about ALL the important things in life, really important things. I thank my Heavenly Father Daily, for the amazing blessings in my life and to comfort those in need.

      O is for Out

Apparently I have met my max quota on pictures/blogging because I am OUT of room and need to order more storage. Luckily it is not that much money to order more.

BUT because I have not been blogging or playing on facebook,  I have actually had time to use my Cricut that I got 2 Christmas's ago. Why I waited so long to use it I have NO idea. But it is OUT and it is Being USED! Currently cutting out hearts for preschool. Heart leis anyone?

AND the LAST more interesting thing that has come OUT, is Miss M's teeth. We have learned that like her mother she has a small jaw and does not have room for her adult teeth that are coming in. So instead of pushing her baby teeth out they are finding different ways to grow in. (I'm thinking braces are in our future). As a result of them finding new ways in, she has had to have teeth pulled OUT. But WHAT a trooper! She didn't even cry. Crazy, because I was SUPER nervous for her and even sent Dad to take her to the appointment. (but in my defense, I was working). So, here is my toothless girl. I love her crazy cute toothless smile! And she thinks the tooth fairy is pretty wonderful. She has also learned that there are many tooth fairy's, and that they do a sparkly fairy dust dance in her room leaving trails of glitter every where. We have had a Blue fairy, a Red fairy, a Green fairy and an orange fairy. And the last two have left her little elf shoes (made from dollar bills) AND notes. (this tooth fairy thing is exhausting...) and there are SO many more to go.

One of Miss M's Christmas gifts was Hip Hop dance class. Her first class was Tuesday.
I just had to go check it out! I am so glad I did. Wish I was part of this dance crew too...

I totally think Ms. S should open this up as a parent exercise class and show as
all the amazing moves she has.
The last two pictures Miss M and her friend are in a Dance Off Battle! It was fun to hear all the kids cheering everyone on. And some of those kids had the rad moves, the really really rad moves. (Ms. Sis the social worker at school and is in the last picture wearing black and grey.)

I will have to figure out how to download the video from my cell phone to post the video... but I am sure there will be MORE to come!
ok I figured out how to down load from my cell phone BUT it is side ways oh well.
their song is a Justin Bieber/Usher song

also when they battled it happened to be one of our favorite songs right now...

      Bonfire at Wagner Farm

We love to visit Wagner farm. The last Saturday of September they have a big bonfire with story tellers. A corn maze, s'mores, apple cider. It's a fun way to welcome in the fall!(my favorite season)

Miss M and Miss A jumping from the concrete blocks.
I love to watch them play together.

Picking pumpkins! just the right size for Little Dude's hands.

So cute these kids! I know I know they are mine, but I just love them
even when they DO drive me crazy.
I love the picture of Miss A and Little D walking together.

cute kids in the pumpkin patch

and the great bonfire. Miss A is STILL talking about it. Miss M and I went into the corn maze a little bit, but it was getting dark and I wasn't feeling like getting lost.
it was great to see our friends there too (the woman next to K is a Dr. from the ER he works at)
and Miss M is sitting with one of her best friends.
