Hello October!

SO far this month has been amazing! Not just because it is one of my favorite months out of the year, but the weather! The weather has been wonderful!

On October first we pulled out our spookity (as K likes to call them) decorations and spooktified our home.
Then, when Miss M got home from school we pulled out our costumes, spooky stories enjoyed the out doors with a WELCOME OCTOBER back yard party. Complete with Cotton Candy, because what welcome party would be complete with out SUGAR!?!?!?

AND to prove how important that SUGAR is, Lil G demonstrates how to EAT cotton Candy!  I say the messier the better, and not gonna lie I was tempted to lick his little cheeks when he was done...

HAPPY OCTOBER!!!!

Birthday Month

It's seems for the last half of October and in a couple of different states we celebrated Miss A's big day.

I have always wanted an October baby - so glad to have one. Planning and celebrating her birthday was lots of fun.

Thanks to everyone for making it such a special event for Miss A!

1.2. - K and I stayed up late decorating for her party
3.4. - I made one big cake and 30 cupcakes
5. Daddy showing Miss A her cuppycakes
6-8.- Ava and her guests (we had 48 people here)
9-12. - Birthday Girl and Guests
13-16. - Breaking open the Pinata (thanks Aunt Sarah
for the FUN pinata!)

Pinata fun, Candy, Cake and Kids!

Cute shots of the kids
(thanks Sarah, Stacy and Rachel for getting such great photos)
Miss A had some great gifts but not a whole lot of interest in opening them
so we let each child who wanted to open up a gift for Miss A.

Also, picture number 14 is my friend Sarah (Mr. Love's mom)
she had the AWESOME idea of doing a group gift. She was like Santa getting
all sorts of fun gifts for Miss A. Thank you SO much for that great idea!

AND as if we didn't have ENOUGH Parties for Miss A - at Hula class our Hula teacher made a cake for Miss A and Christine (my Hula friend and co-owner of the Big Ka Hoo Na)
Happy Birthday Miss A and Aunty Lolly!

Trick and Treating a go go

We had LOTS of Halloween fun!

Ward Halloween Party, Miss A's birthday party, Miss M's preschool, Glencoe Trick or Treating and then in our neighborhood. Miss M wore a different costume for each one.
(good thing we have so many dress up clothes.)

Hope you had a Spooky, sugar filled Halloween too!
BOO!

It's the Great Pumpkin & My Halloween Wish List

Tonight we went grocery shopping and found some nice big pumpkins! for a great price! The girls each got one and we picked one out for our new neighbors...yes that's right NEW WONDERFUL neighbors!!! HUGE sigh of relief. (and they don't mind me decorating for holidays - last neighbor complained about all of my decorations)

I took some pictures of Miss a playing with the pumpkins. I wish I would have had my camera out earlier when she was trying to pick them up.

We also set up our Halloween decorations today. And as I was looking around I thought - I need more. I want a cute black metal haunted house and some cute glass pumpkins. I also saw on a blog a cute Halloween banner. I would love one of those for above my fire place. Here's my wish list and it's all at TARGET!! (well except for the banner)

(My friend Amy had a cuter one on her front door - but it is a sign I have always wanted)
(this cute banner(s) I found at this Blog - I LOVE it!)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

We Love Halloween

Here are our Halloween pictures. We had such a great Halloween!
I felt good enough to take Marlee out trick-or-treating with
Keenan and Jesica.
Grams stayed home and watched Ava.

I had been talking with Keenan how Marlee
was a year old before I left her with anyone. And
here Ava is a week old and I left her twice in ONE day!
