Christmas Morning

just some of the excitement caught on camera.

Santa put all of Miss M's presents in a pink bin. She was a little sad when she thought that Santa had not brought her anything, that she had been on the naughty list. Then I showed her what was inside the pink bin she got pretty excited! "Oh I KNEW Santa wouldn't forget me!"

This gift was from Miss M. She picked it out for Miss A - AND wrapped it all by herself. It was so cute to see Miss M give gifts to everyone that she had picked out (and some she had paid for too). She was really comprehending that there is more than just getting.

Sweet Sisters!

Backyard Fun

Our friend Sarah gave us this fun little playground. Miss A LOVES it.
Miss M enjoys it too, she enjoys doing dare devil moves - especially when her little sister
tries to copy the moves. I love watching them play together.
It's great to send them into the back yard when I am making lunch/dinner.
Or if we have a few minutes to be outside before Miss A goes down for
a nap. Someday we will have a nice big jungle gym, but for now
this is great.

Sisters, Sisters

There were never such devoted sisters...

They really are so sweet together.
Miss A adores her big sister.

and she wants to do everything Miss M does.

There is just something so special about sisters.

Merry and Bright

Keeping with our tradition,

we traveled out to my sisters house for Christmas Eve.
We always have so much fun!

C and Little O

K flew home from Japan and met us at my sisters house
that is why he is still in uniform.

It was great to visit, share laughter, eat, hold a cute baby, watch the girls play together and rip open packages.

(yes Miss A DOES have a black eye )

One of our favorite moments was when K pulled out his ukulele and Miss E and Miss M had a grand time singing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and other Christmas songs.

(sounds like someone else had a good time singing the song too!)

We also
got to meet my mom's fiance - they got engaged over Thanksgiving.
Looks like my mom will be moving away from the mountains
and towards the Windy city.

I think Little O made the cutest Santa Baby ever!!!

Cutest Cousins!

and the cutest sisters!

Hope your Christmas was Merry and Bright!

We Love Ziggy

Marlee received this cute little doggy as a gift from Keenan's manager at work, it was instant love for Ziggy and Marlee.
(In fact she loved Ziggy so much we bid for 2 other Ziggy's on e-bay. thank goodness for e-bay!)

Now Marlee loves sharing her Ziggy with Ava. And Ava LOVES Ziggy!

Here are pictures of the girls about the same age, LOVING Ziggy...

Holding Hands

I came into check on the girls (because I had put them both
on my bed to fall asleep)
and here was Ava holding on to
Marlee's hand - too precious for words!

Visions of Sugar Plums...

A fun new family tradition that my sister and our families do
(now that we have kids), is decorate gingerbread houses.
Its a great way to kick off the holiday season
Thanks Lyn and Jeff for a fun afternoon!

Good example of what was REALLY going on while
decorating these houses, I think more went into our tummy's
than on to our houses... :) YUMMY!
