We are home...

and I got the best surprise EVER!

As we were stumbling into the door after our red eye flight back home, I turned to K and said, "Is that fresh paint I smell?" and in my head I was thinking "OH NO THEY DIDN'T!!!"

My wonderful upstairs neighbors and my husband (and I am sure others were in on it as well.)
redecorated my dinning room. It is no longer peach. (no offense to those who painted it that way-just not my color). AND, they caught my reaction on video. I also want to mention Mr. and Mrs. C made some pretty cute short videos along the way.

They even reapolstered my chairs. How awesome is that!!!

And as if they were not busy enough - they put in a garden while we were
gone too. I can't wait to work on the rest of the yard with them when they get home.

Paint Happy

We must be paint happy, we put a fresh coat on our kitchen too!
But I MUST give credit to my big sister - she is the Master Mind
behind all the cute decorations - maybe in another life
she will be an interior designer - you know like in
another life I want to be a photographer...

Our new little hide-a-way

Saturday was a busy day for us, well for Keenan. He painted our bedroom! HOORAY no more lavender (I mean it's a pretty color for the two little girls that were in the bedroom before us...)
but we needed a change! Especially with our gray wintery weather, it is so nice to have a room that is bright, clean and calm and a place we want to be in and relax! Here are some pictures.
I will take some more when it's complete, I have a list of more things to be done...
paint my dresser, get pictures for the walls, throw pillows and blanket, just-for-show candles and then we can call it good!

But there is just SOMETHING about a fresh coat of paint!
