H is for Hoapili

As a lot of you know my husband Mr. K is Hawaiian. He has a deep love of aloha and anything Hawaiian. He has enjoys music, all kinds of music, but Hawaiian music has a special place in his heart.

Just this past week Mr. K decided to join a group in the mid-west. (He still hopes that one day he and his brother will live close enough to continue their Island Harmony), but he is SO excited about
We are blessed to have this new adventure in our lives.

Last Saturday, the sun came out and was beautiful enough for us to have a photo shoot at a local Lake Michigan Beach. (This has always been a favorite of mine because of the light house and in fact is the first place I took The Mr. when we were dating.)

I had so much fun taking pictures of these "Boys" they were having a GREAT time getting their VOGUE on  and sounding so good. Can't wait to hear them when they have actually had practices! (Mr. K likes the pictures so much that I should add band photo shoots to my smallkinecard business - and call it smallkinepics - not that he is biased or anything!)

A very special Mahalo filled with lots of Aloha to Mike, Ron and LeAnn for inviting us to be a part of the Hoapili Ohana and also a special shout out to our good friend Wendy who really pushed for this too!

You can find this group on Face Book
or their website (which we are still updating)  http://www.myHoapili.com
